MAPPING
CemOffice Mapping Module uses the best GIS technology tools to create dynamic electronic maps. The Module is a Windows-based client-server application, which supports single workstation and multi-user network installations. The familiar Microsoft Office menus and screens make the application fast and easy to use.
The Module may be used as component of CemOffice management software or as a standalone application linked with your existing management system database, allowing you to maximize your ROI.
Including our GIS software into your management system will connect the descriptive property information (what things are) with the geographical information (where things are) . Linking location to information will a llow you to maintain and manage inventories, query the database and retrieve a map, or retrieve/edit information about that particular place, i.e. ownership, its occupant, or whether the place is a grave, crypt, or niche.
Your “paper maps” are processed by Intera and converted into digital maps . Each parcel on the map is distinguished by name and location and is linked to the cemetery's database. The Mapping Module will show each space on the map in a specific color based on its status: available, sold and not used, sold and occupied, tree, engineering, etc. This color-coding system makes evaluation of the cemetery fast and easy. Upon visual inspection, a simple glance can show the status of all the available lots within in your cemetery. Inventory management is greatly enhanced by this feature, especially for sales efforts.
The map is fed information from the Cemetery Management system; therefore changes made by any user on the system will be updated on the map automatically. For example, once you place a burial on a grave, the grave status automatically changes from “ sold and not used ” to “ sold and interred. ”
Either the location's details or an overall map may be printed through your local or network printer, giving detailed instructions and directions to a specific location within the cemetery.
