GIS MAPPING
Does your cemetery still use physical maps that are old and worn?Allow Intera to scan and redraw your existing paper maps into a digital format(AutoCAD, GIS). The result will be a clear and precise layout of your cemetery that Intera will then link with your existing database. Our Mapping Module allows you to query the database and retrieve certain information or show a map of the grounds.
All roads, paths, monuments, sections, blocks, lots, graves and buildings are digitized. Additionally the electrical, water, drainage and other utilities can be added as a separate layer to the mapping system. These utility layers can be turned on and off , based on the user's needs. Each layer can be fully customized: background color; fill pattern, text and lines size and color. Also different labels may be added to each layer. If an aeria
l photo of your cemetery is available, it can be incorporated as a map layer.
Unlike a paper map, an integrated electronic mapping system will allow you to easily locate graves, check availability and status, evaluate purchasing patterns, allocate sales goals and print user-friendly maps. See Mapping Module for more details.
The same electronic maps may be used in our award winning information_kiosk to print maps for directions to a burial site location and to offer certain information related to the deceased.
